Nibiikwe Studios

Nibiikwe Studios is a mother-daughter artist duo whose works bridge traditional and contemporary expressions of Indigenous identity. Through independent and collaborative projects, we explore the complexities of cultural loss and reclamation, sharing our journey of reconnecting with our ancestral stories, values, and heritage.  Our art reflects the beauty, resilience, and adaptability of the Anishinaabe people. Based in Marquette, MI, both members of the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community, we actively participate in cultural revitalization efforts, using art as a means of storytelling, education, and healing.
